In Sept I will be staying at POP but want to visit Bar Riva Lounge at the Riviera, is that permitted? I had read you can only resort hop with dinner reservations. Can I visit a lounge in a resort I am not staying at?

    Hi Debra!

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I see that your trip is coming up soon! How exciting! This is a real good question! I too love visiting other resorts and stopping in the lounges for a quick bite or drink. However, since the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, the safety and health of Guests and Cast Members have been a top priority. Social distancing, reduced contact, and reduced attendance are some of the ways the Walt Disney World Resort is keeping everyone safe. Unfortunately, some of the modifications to ensure the safety of all included limiting Guests at the Resorts. Therefore, at this time Guests can only visit another resort if they have a confirmed dining reservation. We hope that this pandemic ends soon so that things can return to normal!

Quick tip: Be sure to download the My Disney Experience app on your mobile phone before your trip! Here you can see wait times for attractions and even where you can place a mobile order for many of the quick service locations!

Debra, thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. If you need more help planning your vacation, please feel free to send me your questions!
