    We are going in Sept. with free dining. We stayed at Pop last time but want to try moderate this time. Trying to decide between PO Riverside or French Qtr. My main concern is bus pickup, drop off, lines, etc. Is it true they pickup at FQ first?

    I love both French Quarter and Riverside, but if I have to pick a favorite, it would be Port Orleans French Quarter.  With just over 1,000 rooms, it is the smallest of the moderate resorts giving it a very cozy feel.  There is only one bus stop for the resort, so you do not spend a lot of time driving around the resort. (Riverside has multiple bus stops within the resort.) While you might have to sometimes share the bus with Riverside, often your resort will be its one and only stop.  It will just depend on the crowds.  The few times that I've been on the bus and it was being shared with Riverside, it would pick up French Quarter first.

    If you want to be as close as possible to the bus stop/lobby/food court, request a room in buildings 3 or 4.  These are standard view rooms, but a great location to the center of the action. 

    Whichever resort you choose, they are sister resorts so feel free to stroll along the Sassagoula River to visit the opposite resort.  You are going to love the boat to Downtown Disney - what a treat! Enjoy!
