We are going in Sept to celebrate multiple b'days, specially my grandsons 5th b'day. Unfortunately most of the restaurants with the Disney characters are booked. Please help. All he wants is Mickey & Minnie with us. Its my Moms b'day also, Sept 28.

Isolda, this is always a heart wrenching thing when all the character dining is booked for your vacation stay and you have little ones who are so expecting to meet their favorite names!

I would like to suggest one of my favorite character greeting spots for you instead.  It is in EPCOT and located to the right of the large fountain in Future World.  If you can get there when the park opens the lines are not too bad but if you don't time it well at least the lines are inside the air conditioned building.  You will have the opportunity to meet and have pictures taken with almost all of the major Disney characters. There are anywhere between 6-8 so this is a special stop for all the young ones who have dreamed of actually hugging and touching them.  You will spend about as much time with the characters here as you would if they came to your table during a dining experience.

On top of this great opportunity EPCOT is actually a fun place to visit and plenty to keep a young five year old happy and occupied. Head to t he Seas With Nemo and Friends and be sure and take in Turtle Talk With Crush.  As adults you will laugh and the kids are amazed at our little turtle friend!  Imagination is another great pavilion and plan to spend some time in the Image Works at the end of the ride.
