We are going in Sept. with 3 boys 9, 6, and 15 months. We are trying to decide between the atmosphere of Coral reef Restaurant and the food at Le Cellier. Half of our family are not big seafood fans. Which would you recommend?

    Hi Holly,

If most in your clan are "land lubbers", I'd definitely stick with Le Cellier.  Here are my thoughts:

Coral Reef is definitely a fantastic place to dine.  Eating while watching the tanks is absolutely amazing, however, I have to say that the choices for non-seafood eaters isn't too varied.  I'll be totally honest and say that I ordered a chicken dish a while back and it wasn't my favorite.  For those who do like seafood, it's excellent and always fresh.  In addition, the kids menu features non-seafood kid standards that my boys like.  The kids will get a "fish card" that helps them identify the sea life in the tanks in front of them.  My kids like to have a race to see who picks out all the fish first!

Le Cellier is a wonderful option for a table service meal at Epcot.  You will quickly learn this when you try to make advanced dining reservations, as "snagging" a table here can be really tough.  In fact, many argue that it's the most popular restaurant at Epcot.  As you probably know, it's a steak house that features super yummy cuts of beef, fantastic wine and awesome (and I mean awesome) dessert.  It's famous for it's cheese soup, which many fans say is critical for any successful Disney trip!

If you'd like to check out the menus for both of these restaurants, I recommend visiting the independent website allears.net and selecting "dining" from the home page.  Specifically, check out the non seafood choices at Coral Reef to ensure the folks in your family who don't care for fish will be happy.

    Have a great vacation!
