It looks like you're trekking over to Walt Disney World Resort soon to experience the fall festivities here, including the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and I hope that you're getting stoked about your visit! Now far be it from me to make comparisons between the festivals on both coasts (especially after recently visiting Disneyland Resort), but if there's anything that I consider to be such an incredible offering that I wish would make its way over here, it would definitely be the
Sip and Savor Pass found at Disney California Adventure Park. What a game changer!
At the current time, the closest things that we have to these over in EPCOT are
Mini Festival Gift Cards with designs unique to each festival throughout the year that can be worn on your wrist like a little bit of foodie fashion, and also a handy way to pay if you've got your hands full with plates of snacks. You can even see us wearing these in
my episode of the planDisney Podcast for the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts this year! Considering how many more
Global Marketplaces there are available compared to the
Festival Marketplace booths over in the Disney California Adventure Park iteration of the festival, can you imagine how big an EPCOT version of the Sip and Savor Pass would be? For now, who knows if it'll ever become a thing here at Walt Disney World Resort but a festival foodie can definitely dream!
