Hello! We have a 2 separate resort reservations back to back. Will we be able to book restaurant reservations 60 days out for our whole stay or 60 days out from each separate resort check in day? Thanks!

    Hi Heather,

    Welcome to planDisney!

I love having two Disney Resorts Collection resort hotel reservations back to back! We like to call these split stays and we enjoy them because they allow us to experience different resorts on one trip. Currently, you will have different dining reservation selection/booking windows. So, you will be able to make all of your dining reservations for the first stay a little earlier than you can make them for the second stay. Just review the reservation booking window guidelines and remember that, currently, you can make those dining reservations for up to a 10-night stay.

As you get ready, I also suggest that you set a calendar reminder to help you remember which days you need to make those dining reservations. As you know, some dining locations are wildly popular. Be aware that reservations for some locations may not be available when your reservation window opens, so have some back-up options. And, when booking, I always start checking our priority restaurants first. So, Cinderella's Royal Table (we prefer breakfast), 1900 Park Fare, Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera (we prefer breakfast), Space 220 Lounge are just a few that I know I need to try to book first.

Heather, as long as you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, I recommend that you have your luggage transferred by Bell Services unless you have a car and prefer to transfer it yourself when you move the vehicle to the new resort. We normally pack up, leave our luggage at Bell Services, head to a theme park, and then go to the new resort hotel after we get the message that our resort room is ready. Be sure to do online check-in so that you can get the text message alert that your room is ready. When you get to that new resort, you can head directly to your room and call Bell Services to ask that they deliver your luggage or, sometimes, we just stop by the Bell Services desk and let them know we are there. As always, policies and procedures may change, so just double-check the luggage transfer process when you arrive!

    Happy planning!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
