We have 2 separate reservations (room-only the 1st night and a package the next 6 nights). Do I need to do online check-in for both reservations? Do you think we'll have to change rooms after the 1st night? How do I request to stay in same room? Thanks!

    Hi Shelly!

I have actually done this a couple of different times!  While you will need to check in online separately, I do have a tip that will increase your chances of staying in the same room.  Call 1-407-WDISNEY and have them pull up both of your reservations.  You will then need to ask them to add the phrase "Continuing Reservation" to them, so that the room assigner will see that you are continuing your vacation over two reservations.  I would also sweetly ask when you pick up your welcome packet if it would be possible to stay in the same room.  Best of luck!
