    We have 2 separate reservations. If grandma takes my 12&6 yr old to a quick meal while the rest of us go for a table meal, can 12 yr old use her own magic band for hers & her sister's meal on our dining plan? Or should I send my band with her?

    Hi Trinity!

    Your 12 year old can certainly use her own MagicBand for purchases including meals on the Disney Dining Plan at Walt Disney World.  You will have to stop at the front desk of your Disney Resort hotel when you arrive to get her MagicBand linked for charging privileges and set up with a PIN number to use.  My almost 11 year old likes to "buy" his own snacks on the Disney Dining Plan and his own souvenirs, so we let him have charging privileges on his MagicBand with strict instructions that he's only allowed to use it for parent approved things.
