How do I make 2 separate dinner reservations for the same day and time at same restaurant. It is telling me to replace an existing reservation but I have a party of 10 and it want accommodate us.

    Hi Vanessa,

Welcome to planDisney! This is an advanced dining reservation dilemma that I have faced before!

Find another member of your party, a planning partner, who has a My Disney Experience account. List that person as the lead on the second reservation. And make sure your guests are different on each reservation. Often, I will leave the other guests unnamed. So, in My Disney Experience, the reservation will have the name of the lead person and then it just says Guest 1, Guest 2, Guest 3, etc. If the system will still not let you make the reservation in this way, just have your planning partner log into their My Disney Experience account and make the reservation.

If your reservation times are within 15 minutes of each other, when you arrive to the restaurant, ask the Cast Members if they can seat you together. Although not guaranteed, they do their best to work some magic! Also keep in mind that parties of six or more are automatically charged a gratuity.

As you make dining reservations, double-check the credit card guarantee to know which credit card is being used to hold the reservation. If you do not show for the reservation and do not cancel, any no-show fees would be charged to the credit card being used to guarantee the reservation.

I am so happy to see that you are making advanced dining reservations. My family believes these are a must-do. While visiting, you can also use Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. Just be sure to check the arrival windows at least an hour before you want to eat and take advantage of Mobile Dine Check-in. I also suggest that you bring some snacks for your crew. I always pack a few snacks to get us through the day, especially if we are not planning three meals a day. And, if possible, bring refillable water bottles. I pick up complimentary water when we do Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering and use that to refill my water bottle. There are also water bottle refill stations in the parks.

Vanessa, I am sending a little extra pixie dust your way trusting that you are able to make those dining reservations! We are so excited to welcome you for an Incredible Disney visit!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
