    On 2 separate days we have a tour scheduled and breakfast at BOG before park opening. We're staying at the Boardwalk and I'm not sure if the buses will be running. Are we able to take a cab to the Contemporary and then walk to MK?

    Hi Kelly! It is always fun to get those early morning dining reservations inside the Magic Kingdom. Being able to walk down Main Street without thousands of people in your pictures is truly special.

    Reality does then set in when you have to figure out how to get to the park before Disney transportation begins. They do run early morning buses but they are not as dependable as you would hope. If you miss a bus there might not be another for a long time. I have learned that taking a taxi is the least stressful way to make sure I get to where I need to go on time. You can certainly have your valets at the Boardwalk Resort call for a taxi the morning you have the early reservation. Make sure you give them a little extra time to get a cab to the resort. Let the driver know that you need to go to the Magic Kingdom but you want to be dropped off at the Contemporary Resort. They can pull into the parking area and drop you off so you are a bit closer then dropping you off at the front door. There is a marked walkway to take and should only take you about 8 minutes. Check in line for the early dining guests and tours is the far left queue once you pass through security. Have fun on the tour and at Be Our Guest restaurant.
