Is there a separate cost for Fantasmic, or is it included in the park ticket? Is it beneficial to start lining up 90 minutes prior to the start time ?

    Hi Renee,

Fantasmic! is one of my favorite performances at WDW! It is included with park admission so no separate ticket is needed.

Fantasmic! is now only held on select evenings & on those evenings, it is a very popular show.  I highly recommend that you start lining up 60 to 90 minutes prior to show time. To pass the time, bring something to do while you wait (hand held games, Hidden Mickey book, etc.). Once your party is seated, you can send someone back out for food (there are limited concessions available in the amphitheater).

You can save yourself some wait time with the Fantasmic! Dinner Package. This package includes dining at one of 3 restaurants at Disney's Hollywood Studios (shown below) & seats within a reserved section of the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater:

    • The Hollywood Brown Derby (lunch or dinner)
    • Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano (lunch or dinner)
    • Hollywood & Vine (dinner only)
The section in the theater is reserved but not the seats so you'd still want to arrive at least 45 minutes prior to show time. Reservations can be made beginning 180 days prior to your visit by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

You can check the schedule for Fantasmic! online by clicking here.  From there, select a month from the drop down list next to the View Month tab. That will take you to that month's calendar which will list park hours. Click on a specific day to check on the Fantasmic schedule - if its not listed - it isn't being performed that evening. Be sure you pick up a Times Guide as you enter DHS to confirm as schedules are always subject to change without notice. Wishing you many magical memories :-)  Allison
