I have 3 separate contracts with DVC. How do I find the year they expire?

    Hiya, Joanne!

Welcome to planDisney.  There's nothing I enjoy more than getting to chat with other Disney Vacation Club Members about the ins and outs of Membership, so thanks for stopping by with your question today.  Like you, I have multiple Home Resorts, so I know that it can be tough to keep all the details of each contract straight sometimes.  Luckily, though, it's usually pretty easy to find most of the information you need about your Membership on the Disney Vacation Club website, once you know where to look.  Let me try to point you in the right direction so you can find out some of the details about your individual contracts.

While it might sound crazy, I think the easiest way to find out when the Disney Vacation Club Ownership Interest expires at each DVC Resort is by using the Points Add-On Tool, located on the Disney Vacation website.  While this page is technically a way for Members to request more Vacation Points (I wish!), it's also a great way to see when the contracts for each Resort –– with the exception of one –– will expire at a glance.  To find this page, simply hover over the "My DVC" tab and select "Points Add-On Tool" from the drop-down menu.  On the next page, you'll find a box for each Resort that shows when the Ownership Interest will expire.  Because all the contracts at each Resort will expire at the same time, the year that you see listed for each of your Home Resorts will be the year your contract ends, as well.

As I mentioned earlier, the only Resort that you won't find listed on this page is The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. However, I can tell you that those contracts are set to expire on January 31, 2060. And there's one other discrepancy to note –– in 2007, Owners at Disney's Old Key West Resort were given the option to extend their contracts for 15 years, moving their expiration date from 2042 to 2057.  If Old Key West is one of your Home Resorts and you aren't sure if your contract was extended, I recommend going back to look at your original Membership documents for clarification.

Again, thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Joanne.  I hope this helped to answer your question, but if you need more information about your Disney Vacation Club Membership, I hope you'll visit us again –– we're always here to help you find the info you need when planning your next Disney vacation!

    Have a Magical Day,
