Mom And Daughter; Animal Kingdom

    We are going Sep 23-30 this year and would like to know if there are any events other than Mockeys halloween party.

    On September 26, Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival begins.  It is a fabulous chance to sample wines and culinary specialties of many countries, not just the normal fixtures of the World Showcase.  In addition, special classes, presentations, and concerts are offered during the event.  

    On September 27, the Animal Kingdom is hosting an Expedition Everest 5K race complete with an obstacle course and scavenger hunt.  However, I believe this event is sold out, but it sounds like there will be many Disney fans as well as nearly all of the Disney Moms visiting during the weekend :-)
