Hello, Ruben! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you thought to cruise our way with your question.
Proper
travel documentation is an absolute necessity, so it is always a great idea to clarify that you are prepared to sail. I'm not sure which beautiful itinerary you will be enjoying aboard Disney Cruise Line, so I will share the basics when it comes to traveling with an original and valid Trusted Traveler Card. I checked in with a Disney Cruise Line agent who confirmed that the only approved Trusted Traveler Cards for citizenship documentation with Disney Cruise Line are NEXUS and FAST. Unfortunately, SENTRI cards are not accepted. If you are a U.S. or Canadian citizen, you may use a NEXUS or FAST Trusted Traveler Card for cruises to Alaska, the Caribbean and Bahamas, Pacific Coast, Canada, and the Panama Canal. For cruises to Europe and Transatlantic sailings, a passport is required for travel. I hope that clears everything up for you.
As you are preparing for your voyage, please be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. From home, you can use the app to
reserve cruise activities when your cruise fare is paid in full and your booking window opens. You can also explore more about your ship and countdown to your vacation. Once you are on board, the app will provide restaurant menus, your
dining rotation, daily activity schedules, and more. It will steer you toward all the exciting opportunities that await on the ship!
Ruben, my panelist pals, and I are here to help you plan for an unforgettable vacation. Please sail our way again if you have further questions. We'd love to be of assistance!
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
