Hey there, Ana!
Thanks for coming to see us here at planDisney! It's so great to hear you're planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! I'm sure you're already counting the days until you get to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth!
You mention you received an invitation for a vacation, and that has me really curious. My question would be: are you making your own plans for your vacation by
booking your own Resort hotel reservation, purchasing your own theme park tickets, and making your own theme park reservations through the
Disney Park Pass system? Or is someone else making all these plans for you and the rest of the vacation party?
If you have booked all your own vacation plans, and you haven't received any confirmation email, my suggestion is to call the Walt Disney Travel Company at (407) 939-7675 to follow up.
If someone else is making all the plans for the vacation, including making Resort reservations, purchasing theme park tickets, and making theme park reservations, then perhaps the invitation you received is the email invitation to join in on their planning.
Just out of curiosity, did the email invitation you received say something like "You have a Family & Friends invitation to join in on Walt Disney World vacation planning"? If this is the case, it likely means that the person planning the vacation through their
My Disney Experience account wanted to add you to their
Family & Friends list so that they can make plans for everyone in their vacation party, including you. If you accepted that email invitation, your own My Disney Experience account, if you have one, should be connected to their My Disney Experience account.
It could also be that you made your plans, other members in the vacation party made their plans, and one of them sent you the invitation to connect to their Family & Friends list.
I think the key questions you want to ask yourself are: do you have your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation? Do you have your Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets? Do you have your theme park reservations made through the Disney Park Pass system? If your answer to each of these questions is "yes," then it sounds like you're good to go! You can take a look at your plans in the My Plans areas of your My Disney Experience account. Your Resort reservation, theme park tickets, and theme park reservations should all be there for you to see. If you run into any issues or questions with your My Disney Experience account, you can reach out to the Walt Disney World Internet Help Desk at (407) 939-4357, or you can
contact them through the online chat service. Ana, here's wishing you all the fun for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
