    i sent my friend an invite for the mde app, she accepted but it still says pending. we are due to book dining today will we be able to book her meals?

    Hi, Tracy!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question.

    I'm glad to hEAR that you are making all of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans far in advance.  Then when you arrive for your visit, everything is already taken care of.  You can just relax and experience the power of magic!

    I have good news for you, Tracy.  Your My Disney Experience Family & Friends List does not affect your dining reservations, so you can go right ahead and book those must-do meals beginning 180 days before your arrival.  One person in your party will need to log into their My Disney Experience account either online or using the My Disney Experience mobile app, and they may make dining reservations for the entire party.  My Disney Experience will use that guest as the contact person and list them as "Guest 1" on the reservation.  If the other members of your dining party are already included in your Family & Friends List, you may list them as the other guests.  If your accounts are not yet connected, you may simply leave the other names as "Guest 2," "Guest 3," etc.  This is perfectly fine even if you plan to use a Disney Dining Plan.  Your dining reservation simply holds a spot for the given number of guests.

    Now, as you get a bit closer to your trip, you will want to make sure that you and your friend connect on My Disney Experience.  You will need to be listed in each other's Family & Friends List in order to book your FastPass+ selections together.  FastPass+ selections may be made 60 days before your arrival if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, or 30 days in advance if you are staying elsewhere.  If you are still having difficulties connecting your accounts, I recommend calling the Help Center phone number for My Disney Experience.  The Help Center Cast Members should be able to get everything sorted out for you quicker than you can say, "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!"
