Hello Donn and thank you for visiting planDisney as you begin planning for a Disney Cruise. I'm a fellow Guest and a huge fan of sailing with the Disney Cruise Line for many reasons. One of the reasons is that you have a lot of choices when it comes to making your cruise vacation customized just for you. And that includes many choices in stateroom categories! There are four main stateroom categories. I suggest that you choose which of these four best suits the needs of your travel party first, and then plan from there. Concierge: These accommodations are the most luxurious on the ship and come with additional Concierge Services. All of these options include a verandah and some suites accommodate up to seven Guests. Oceanview with Verandah: These staterooms have room for between 3-5 sailors and all offer a private verandah for access to sea breeze and spectacular sights. Oceanview: Staterooms in this category accommodate between 3-4 Guests and all have an in-room porthole for beautiful ocean views. Inside: Inside staterooms have room for between 3-4 sailors and depending on the ship, some have fun "virtual portholes". When you use the "Find a Cruise" planning tool on the Disney Cruise Line website, you can narrow down your main stateroom category based on the above list. From there you can choose which stateroom within your category will be best for you. You may prefer a stateroom located in the midship, forward, or aft of the ship. If you would like some additional help in deciding what fits your preferences, you can always contact a Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist. Donn, I hope this helps clear things up a bit as you prepare for a dream vacation! The Disney Cruise Line has so much to offer Guests of all ages. If you have any further questions, please cruise back to us at planDisney. We would love to help. Happy planning, Adrianna
