Hello, we are seniors going to WDW in April for 12 days and are considering the dinning plan. We are wondering if it's a good investment or are we going to find it necessary to make Resv. for every night in order to ensure that we get our monies worth?

Hi Gerald - The dining plan is usually a good value if you think you'll be using an average of one table service credit per day.  Keep in mind that the signature dining locations require two table service credits, so you don't necessarily need to have a table service meal for each day you are there.

To get the best dining locations and times, I do recommend that you make reservations.  Sometimes you'll get lucky and can walk right in, but if you have a preference to location and time, it's best to reserve up front.

Think about your vacation and figure out when you'll realistically want table meals.  Also start to look at locations.  If you find that you'll use the full table service allocations, it's probably worth getting the plan.

    Have a great vacation!
