Seniors wanting to visit DL in October or November. Want to avoid criwds but concerned about rides being closed for refurbishing. when best time to visit to avoid crowds but still enjoy rides?

    Hey there Davud,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! I'm thrilled to hear that you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort later this year!

I can definitely relate to wanting to find the perfect time to visit the Happiest Place on Earth! Also, the October and November months happen to be my absolute favorite times of the year to visit.

From what I've seen, the times of the year where there tend to be lighter crowds also correspond with the times when more attractions are down for refurbishment. However, in my experience, there has been a real sweet spot in the second or third week of November! From what I've seen, the first week of November usually has a few attractions down while they switch out the Halloween decor with the Holiday decor, but right around the time of the Holiday season starting - especially midweek - has been a really great time to visit!

There certainly are still crowds at times, but between the two months you're looking at, this is the time I would recommend to book your visit. I think it'll be a really great way to ring in the Holiday season as well!

Additionally, as you continue to plan, make sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the information you'll want to know about the fun that the Holiday season will bring with it.

Thanks again for your question, Davud! I hope you have a fantastic visit to the Happiest Place on Earth later this year.

    Have a Magical Day,
