We are seniors that enjoy the more "upscale" Disney Resorts. We are thinking of going to Disney World without our kids or grandchildren during the winter. The Grand Floridian is our choice. What do you recommend for a senior couple?

Hello Edward!  I think it's wonderful that you are planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort without children.  I think so many people think that Disney is just for kids,  but there are so many things that make it an ideal choice for adults.  I love your choice to stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  It has the upscale atmosphere you are looking for without being stuffy.  For the ultimate in luxury, consider booking a Club Level Room in the Main Building.  Concierge staff offer personalized service to Guests booked there.  You will also receive itinerary planning services in advance of your trip.  The Concierge Lounge is especially beautiful and relaxing.  It looks over the main lobby, and you will hear the sounds of piano and/or orchestra from about 3pm until 9:45pm.   How about booking Afternoon Tea at the Grand? It's relaxing and simply lovely. Tea is served in the Garden View Lounge from 2pm until 6pm.  What about Signature Dining at Victoria and Albert's at the Grand? it's an intimate dining experience. If you stay Concierge, the Itinerary Planning Office can book this, as well as any other reservation requests you might have.  You mentioned visiting during the winter.  Weather is unpredictable but even if it's cool, you're sure to enjoy renting a Poolside Cabana. You will receive personalized service and can choose a half or full day rental.  You don't even need to be a swimmer. How about relaxing in your private Cabana with elaborately cushioned chairs, couch, fridge and a personal staff member to assist you?   Bring along that book you can't wait to read!

I wish you a MAGICAL vacation, Edward!
