Hello!
Welcome to planDisney!
It's always nice to meet a fellow Disney traveler who loves a good discount! For the Walt Disney World® Resort, I suggest checking the
Special Offers page. While there are currently no special offers specific to seniors, here you will find all special offers including discounts. Depending on your location and the number of times per year you plan to visit, you may want to consider becoming an
Annual Passholder. When I realized that I was probably going to visit at least eight days per year, I decided to become an Annual Passholder. My husband and I have the Disney Sorcerer Pass because we are
Disney Vacation Club members.
As an Annual Passholder I also take advantage of
discounts on select merchandise, dining, and experiences. During the year, there are also occasional discounts for Annual Passholders on
Disney Resorts Collection hotel stays. I love being an Annual Passholder. Aside from the discounts, I appreciate the special experiences reserved for guests with Annual Passes. A few weeks ago, I was able to ride
Tiana's Bayou Adventure on an Annual Passholder preview day before the attraction officially opened to the public! Although we live in North Carolina, I visit often enough to feel like being an Annual Passholder is a great value.
As you consider your options, I suggest that you do some math. Take the number of days you would like to visit and estimate how much you would spend purchasing
theme park tickets and then compare that to the price of an Annual Pass. Also, go back to the Special Offers and price out a vacation package to compare standard pricing to pricing with any of the Special Offers for which you might be eligible. Sending a wish to the Evening Star in the spirit of Tiana trusting that you will be able to get a discount on your trip so that we can
see you real soon!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
