Welcome back to planDisney, Patricia!
Your visit to Walt Disney World is just a couple of weeks away. How exciting! Along with all the fun
character dining experiences, there is something for everyone to enjoy at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Walt Disney World does not currently offer specially priced theme park tickets for seniors. They currently offer a children’s ticket (for ages 3–9) and a standard ticket (for ages 10+), with children under 3 years old admitted to the parks for free. You can find information on special offers and discounts, such as the spring ticket offer for Disney+ subscribers, on the
Special Offers page. If you have any questions or need assistance in purchasing tickets, I would suggest calling the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations line to speak with a friendly Cast Member.
Theme park tickets grant you admission into one of Walt Disney World’s four theme parks (or more if you purchase the Park Hopper Option), and access to that park’s attractions. I’m sorry to report that there isn’t a ticket option for just sightseeing.
It looks like your visit will overlap with the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which is a wonderful seasonal festival at, you guessed it, EPCOT. Along with special events and artist booths, the park is full of special food studios. You can find out more about all the festival’s limited-time sips and snacks with the Disney Parks Blog’s handy
Foodie Guide.
I hope you have a wonderful vacation, Patricia. Pop right back if you have any other questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
