I have senior in High school that I would like to bring for graduation undecided about combining cruise and park I really want to spend so time , because she is going off to college

    Hi Belinda,

Please congratulate your daughter on her impending graduation.  It is an important milestone in a young person's life.  I'm glad you're considering spending some mother-daughter time with her at Walt Disney World before she heads off to college.

If you're looking for a list of suggestions for things to do with your teen at Walt Disney World, check out my recent blog post on Orbitz.  Just go to www.orbitz.com/blog and search "caterpillar years."  Since I teach high school seniors every day, I've been thinking quite a bit lately about the big transition that awaits my students and decided to write about fun ways that parents can make memories with their children before they embark on their new academic adventures in the fall.  I hope you find the article useful.

In addition to the fine dining, backstage tours, and spa experiences you could enjoy at Walt Disney World, there are some lovely experiences you could share with your daughter aboard a Disney cruise.  There are fine dining experiences at Remy and Palo, thrilling port adventures, and quiet time spent together on the beach at Castaway Cay.  Getting from Walt Disney World to Port Canaveral is easy so, if your daughter wishes to celebrate her graduation with a land and sea Disney vacation, I highly encourage you start making your plans for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.  Feel free to post additional questions to Marisol and Nancy, our Disney Cruise Line specialists on the Moms Panel.  They have great suggestions for ways to make your Disney cruise memorable.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
