My senior dog is exempt from vaccinations due to an immune system deficiency and has a note from her veterinarian. Will she be permitted to stay in a dog friendly guest room with this note? She is a teacup yorkie and will not leave the room.

    Hi Tammy, welcome to planDisney!

I will admit, the hardest part about going on vacation is leaving your furry family behind.  It is also the best part of coming home when you can reunite with them once again.  I am so excited to hear you will be bringing your little Yorkie along to stay with you.

Walt Disney World Resort currently has four hotels that have designated dog-friendly accommodations:

    Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Disney Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
    Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort

To stay at one of these resort hotels, dogs must be properly vaccinated and up-to-date vaccination records must be presented upon request per the pet policy.  Since you have a unique situation with your dog, I would suggest you call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations for additional clarification.

Tammy, I hope this works out for you and you and your Yorkie have a magical stay at Walt Disney World Resort!
