Is there a senior discount at Disney and California parks?

Greetings, Michael, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so excited that you're considering a trip to the Disneyland Resort – it's truly the Happiest Place on Earth! Some of my most cherished memories, both as a kid and as a parent, were made here. From sharing buckets of popcorn and watching parades to overcoming nerves to ride Space Mountain, there’s something special around every corner. I can only imagine the memories you’ll create during your visit!

Michael, there's nothing like a good deal to maximize the magic of a Disneyland Resort visit. I checked the Special Discounts and Offers page on the Disneyland website, and unfortunately, there are no active senior discounts for theme park tickets or hotel stays at the moment. However, I recommend checking that page every now and then to see if new deals come up. You can also follow the Disney Parks Blog to stay in the know.

Do you happen to live in Southern California, Michael? If you reside within ZIP codes 90000–93599, you'd be eligible for the Southern California Resident Ticket, which is your best bet for magical savings. This limited-time offer provides a great value on three full days in the parks through May 15, 2025, subject to restrictions. You'd need to show a valid California Driver's License or California ID to prove eligible residency.

I can tell you firsthand that the Southern California Resident Ticket is a wonderful way to experience the parks. With three days inside the parks, it's possible to take more time and savor each moment, rather than feeling rushed to do as much as possible in a single day. My dad got this ticket to celebrate his retirement and is spacing his three visits over a period of a few months. Watching him and my mom (who has a Magic Key pass) experience the parks together with my kids has been so special!

Michael, I'm sorry if this wasn't the answer you hoped for. But I hope that you will find your way to the Disneyland Resort soon. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're happy to help.
