Hi Carolyn!
If you are looking for smaller portions, prefer carrots over fries, or enjoy chicken nuggets as much as Belle loves reading, then a kids' menu option might be for you. Adults are welcome to order a kids' meal at
Walt Disney World. The exception would be at a prix fixe or all-you-care-to-eat restaurant where prices are set by age.
I believe you will be pleased with the lighter options
Disney Dinning provides on its standard menus as well. At the
Magic Kingdom quick service spot
Pinocchio Village Haus, for example, you may order the side Caesar salad rather than the full size one or have a bowl of tomato basil soup. In resort quick service restaurants and at stands in the theme parks, you can pick up fruit or snack cheese. Table Service eateries typically provide an array of appetizer choices.
On our last visit to
Epcot, we dinned at
Spice Road Table and enjoyed a meal of shared small plates. If you are looking for more interesting eating, this restaurant with its lovely waterside seating would be the perfect place.
Of course, Walt Disney World is one of the few places on earth where a Premium Mickey Ice Cream Bar counts as a meal.
Enjoy!
Elisabeth
