Hi there, Marjorie, and welcome to planDisney. It's always such a pleasure to help a fellow Jersey girl find the magic! You must be SO excited for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World (and I know I'm super excited
for you!), so let's dive straight into your question.
At this time,
Disney World doesn't offer senior citizen discounts on tickets, Disney resort stays, or vacation packages. However, I do still have some great news! Disney World does offer plenty of great discounts, which you'll find on the
Special Offers page. Based on your arrival date, you may be eligible for the
4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket or the
Late Summer 2-Day, 2-Park Ticket.
You're probably wondering what the difference is between these two deals, so here's the breakdown. The 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket gives you one admission to each of the four theme parks on four separate days. That means
one park per day. Meanwhile, the Late Summer 2-Day, 2-Park Ticket includes one admission to EPCOT and one admission to Disney's Animal Kingdom on two separate days (again, one park per day).
Of course, only you know which of these two offers might be right for you! It's also smart to think about whether flexibility is a priority for you. If so, you may want to consider the
Park Hopper Option, which allows you admission to multiple parks per day.
Marjorie, there are also other ways to save money in Disney World, including using a
Disney Visa card to pay for your purchases and meals. My family uses ours to earn reward points toward our next Disney vacation, and to save 10% on many of our
Disney dining experiences.
I hope this helps, and that your upcoming visit is practically perfect in every way! If you have any other questions as you plot your big adventure, you know
where to find me, right here at planDisney!
Magical travels,
Allison
