Hi, Kenyetta! Welcome to planDisney.
I so appreciate you letting us come alongside you as you plan your great, big, beautiful tomorrow!
When I first started visiting Walt Disney World Resort, I can still remember the thrill of receiving a packet in the mail (or, as we'd say back home in England, "a parcel in the post") with a brochure and a DVD tucked inside. Side note: Are DVDs even a thing anymore? There was just something magical about holding that tangible piece of Disney in your hands as the excitement for your trip began to build. Times have changed, though, and Disney no longer mails brochures or planning materials to Guests. Much of this shift is due to their ongoing commitment to reducing waste and caring for the environment. These days, all of that helpful information is just a click away.
The good news is that you'll find a treasure trove of planning resources online. The
planDisney website is the perfect place to start—you're already here! Not only will you find expert advice from some of the most seasoned Disney Guests out there, but you'll also discover handy Pocket Guides to Disney Resorts, thoughtful tips for your visit, and an extensive
video library to help you plan.
From there, I’d recommend exploring the
Vacation Planning page on the Walt Disney World website. You’ll find detailed info on the
Disney Resorts hotels,
dining options that range from whimsical to world-class, and, of course, everything you need to know about the theme parks and destinations. And if you'd like to stay in the loop on the latest and greatest, make visiting
Disney Parks Blog part of your regular routine.
One last tip: sprinkle in some Disney+ magic before your trip. Shows like
Behind the Attraction,
The Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and my personal favorite,
The Imagineering Story, are a fantastic way to deepen your appreciation for the magic behind the parks and to make your upcoming visit feel even more special.
TTFN, ta-ta for now, Kenyetta.
