Hi, Natasha! Welcome to the planDisney fam! If there's one thing your pals here love to do more than anything else, it's plan a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with a whole bunch of our friends. Let's get your crew on the same page so everyone can have a magical time!
Disney has a practically perfect way to share plans with your family and friends. And fittingly enough, it's a feature in
My Disney Experience called
"Family & Friends"! You'll need a free My Disney Experience account to get started. Once you have your account set up, click on "My Disney Experience" on the main Walt Disney World web page, then go to "My Family & Friends." Click on the "+" sign to enter the names and ages of your immediate family, or anyone whose plans you want to manage yourself, and add them into your account. For other family members or friends, you can send an email inviting them to connect to your Family & Friends list. They can then accept your invitation and create their own My Disney Experience account. Once you're connected, everyone in your party should be able to view all shared plans you've made throughout your trip under "My Plans" in their My Disney Experience accounts. You can find more
information about connecting with family and friends on the Walt Disney World website.
Also, you can do all of this on the
My Disney Experience app on your phone. I definitely suggest you download it to use in the Theme Parks as well!
If you bought Theme Park tickets for other members of your group, your best bet is probably to
link the tickets to your My Disney Experience account and then
reassign them. Then everyone has their own ticket to the magic! Just remember, each Guest needs to have a
Disney Park Pass reservation for the Theme Park you plan to visit each day before you can enter.
Natasha, while you're dreaming of all the things you want to do at Walt Disney World, be sure to check out
planDisney's Panel Extras. We did some think-think-thinking and came up with some of our favorite tips to help make the most of your Disney days!
I hope this helps you and your team get ready for some big-time fun, Natasha! Ride all the rides, eat all the snacks, and have ALL the fun! And be sure to come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
