Hi Ruth,
How nice that you want to acknowledge the extraordinary service that
Walt Disney World cast members so consistently provide to guests!
When a cast member goes above and beyond to make your day special, you can offer a cast compliment in a number of ways.
The most immediate is on Twitter. The official Guest Services Twitter account for Walt Disney World is @WDWGuestService. Tweet the cast member's name and the details of their magical deed with the hashtag #CastCompliment and you should get a response quickly. Sometimes, Guest Services will even reply with a picture of the cast member holding a copy of your tweet.
The last time I tweeted a compliment after extraordinary service by a cast member, I got a tweet in reply within hours, assuring me that cast member Austin would know I was thankful for his help.
If you'd rather opt for something less public, you can send an email to
Guest Services at Guest.Services@disneyworld.com. Or, if you are still at Walt Disney World, you can drop a note off for the cast member at a
Guest Relations location or the front desk of your resort.
Thanks for your question, Ruth, and for recognizing that Walt Disney World cast members take their commitment to making every guest's visit magical very seriously. Please let us know if we can help you in any other way.
Wilma
