Hey there Karla,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question! Whether you're planning on shipping something you purchased during your trip home or to a friend or loved one, the Disneyland Resort has flexible options to help. Thinking ahead about these kinds of logistics is such a smart move as it will be one less thing to worry about lugging through the airport or packing into an already-full suitcase.
The good news is that
mail services are available at the Disneyland Resort hotels, so you can absolutely send a personal package home from your stay. Postcards and letters with postage already applied can be mailed from mail boxes located near the Front Desk of each hotel. You can ship pre-packed, pre-labeled packages at the Bell Desk of each Resort hotel. Regular shipping and handling fees will apply.
One thing I'd recommend doing before you head to the Front Desk is making sure your package is ready to go. As noted, all packages must be pre-packed and labeled. If you're planning on purchasing items in the parks that you'd like to ship home, many in-park retail locations offer domestic merchandise shipping services for an additional fee. Specifically the
Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. and
Elias & Co. on Buena Vista Street have been me and my family's go-to locations when we want to ship packages back home or souvenirs to friends.
To ship an item, you can ask a Cast Member during the checkout process and they will be able to walk you through the process and help calculate the cost. One note is that if you purchase something at a different location in the parks and want to check if it's eligible to be shipped then make sure to hold on to your receipt showing you purchased the item that same day.
Thanks again for your question, Karla! I hope you have a wonderful time on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
