How do I send online tickets to the people in my group? Does a screen shot work?

Hey there, hi there, Howard! Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by planDisney with your question.

You are so close to walking down Main Street, U.S.A., in just a few days and I know you are probably eager to cross off the last few things on your list. If you purchased tickets for your party and want to be able to send the tickets to them then you can most definitely screenshot the digital tickets to send to each person. Just be sure that this screenshot includes the barcode that will need to be scanned at the entrance of the park. However, I recommend that each person take the time to download the Disneyland app to use on their mobile device so that they can link their ticket to the app. Each member will need to download and then log in or create a Disney account. Once they do this, they can tap the three horizontal lines at the bottom right of the screen and then click on "Ticket and Passes". Here they will be able to use the Ticket ID number or barcode of their ticket to link them to their account. This gives each person the ability to add and utilize Disney Genie+ to their ticket, as well as try for the virtual queues.

If you are going in a large group and will be using Disney Genie+, I always recommend that at least one person have all of the tickets in the party linked to their account. Don't worry, a ticket can be linked to more than one Disney account/Disneyland app without any issue. I recommend this so that this person can easily make Lightning Lane selections for the whole group in one step so you all get the same return time.

Howard, thanks again for stopping by. Be sure to visit us again with any other questions. See you real soon!
