Can I send a message to any Disney Characters?

Hi there Charlie, it's so great to welcome you to planDisney!

Being able to interact with beloved Characters at one of the many experiences you'll find at Walt Disney World Resort is one of those key things that families from all over the world hope to be able to check off their list, and even for those of us who visit far more frequently it absolutely is just as exciting every single time. Some folks do like to send their own messages to Characters in mail, and while it's definitely a fun activity to inspire a little bit of magic but it's just as important to remember that you should never do so expecting any kind of a response from any Character, as this can never be guaranteed.

That said, checking with a Guest Relations Cast Member here at Walt Disney World Resort, the mailing address that they'll provide is currently as follows:

    (Character Name)
    c/o Walt Disney World Communications
    P.O. Box 10040
    Lake Buena Vista, Florida
    32830-0040

In the past, special postcards or greetings were sometimes sent back but this has been observed to be rarer in more recent years; it might not hurt to increase your chances by including a self-addressed return envelope with the proper postage! However in my opinion after having spent years living, working and hanging out amongst my Character pals, you might get some of the best reactions to capture on camera by presenting these messages in person and I definitely know that these heartfelt tokens as simple as a handwritten note to drawings from fans of all ages are often very much cherished. (Be aware that the Character Attendant may have to hang onto anything you present to any of the Characters for the time being as they meet and greet with other guests, and this will also be the best Cast Member to speak with first if there is anything that you'd like to give to anyone.)

If you really wanted to show your appreciation for anyone who's gone to infinity and beyond to make any memory extra magical for you, it might be tricky to submit a Cast Compliment when it comes to our Character friends so what I might recommend is remembering the time, date and location of your interaction and let the Cast Members know at the nearest Guest Relations location and be sure that they record it. I hope this helped Charlie, and that you're inspired to show some extra love to one of our dear famous friends here at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Wishing you all the best on your Character-correspondence quest!
