Hello there, Leanne!
One of the best parts of planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is how you can share the planning with your entire party, and the
My Disney Experience mobile app makes it so easy. Like Disney’s The Lion King’s Circle of Life, there is more to see than can ever be seen at the Walt Disney World Resort, which makes planning with a group that much more fun.
Leanne, first things first, you’ll need to link everyone in your party to your
“My Family & Friends List.” On your My Disney Experience account website, select “Add a Guest” to start the planning process with them. You can also add Guests to your list via the mobile app by selecting the three horizontal bars, followed by “My Profile” and “Family & Friends List.” Once you send this request to each person in your party, they will need to accept your request.
Now that everyone in your group is linked up, you should see everyone listed in your “My Family & Friends List.” You can give the other members of your party access to their tickets in the mobile app by selecting the three horizontal bars and “Tickets and Passes.” You should see all of the tickets you purchased there, and you can reassign each ticket to one of the people on your Family & Friends List. If you are doing this on the computer, go to “My Plans” and scroll down to “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker.” From there, you can reassign each ticket to a member of your party. Once all of the tickets are assigned, your family and friends will be able to see the tickets appear in their My Disney Experience account.
I’ve always had fun sharing the vacation planning once my party is linked up. For example, often times I’ll make our
advanced dining reservations, whereas my mom will make reservations for enchanting extras. It’s such a sweet surprise to check the app and see what plans your friends and family are putting together.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
