Can I send by mail my old magic bands to get recycle?

Greetings, Fernanda! Sometimes, Guests bring questions to planDisney that require us to do a little bit of research. Yours is one of those questions!
While there is not currently a way to mail your old MagicBands to the Walt Disney World Resort, there is indeed a way to have them recycled. Put your MagicBand aside until your next visit! When you visit in the future, you can drop off that old band at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel! They will take care of properly recycling the band for you!

It’s a good idea to deactivate your old MagicBand prior to having it recycled. In your My Disney Experience app, tap on “MagicBands and More.” You’ll then tap “View MagicBands.” When your MagicBand appears, you'll need to tap "Deactivate."

Fernanda, I have many MagicBands from over the years! I like to keep mine as souvenirs! I have them connected to spaces in my home office as well as displayed in a large (and now very colorful) glass canister! Each band brings happy memories of various visits to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Happy Planning!
