Hey there, Sumer!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney today! It sounds like you are beginning to plan your Walt Disney World vacation. Your
My Disney Experience account allows you to do and manage so much, so make sure to download the
mobile app as well. It comes in handy when you are on-the-go and in the theme parks.
Now before you get to booking your
dining reservations,
Lightning Lane passes, and linking your resort reservation, let’s get your account figured out. If you have two separate accounts, what you will need to do is give
Walt Disney World a call. A Cast Member there will be able to get your accounts taken care of so that you can manage all your plans under one account. My sister had accidentally created two accounts a few years ago, once using her email address and the other with her school email. The Cast Member was able to transfer all her information over to one account and delete the other one that she no longer needed. It didn’t take long and before the end of the day, we were back to planning our must-dos.
If you don’t have two accounts and you are simply looking to link up to someone else's account, you can do so on the mobile app. You’ll want to start by signing into your account and then clicking the menu button in the bottom right-hand corner, the three horizontal lines. From there, scroll down until you see “My Profile” click that. On the next screen, you will see the heading “Family & Friends List.”Go ahead and click on that. If you scroll down to the bottom of the screen, you will see a plus sign followed by “Add a Guest.” Select that and continue to follow the prompts until you have linked the person you want to connect to. After you’ve done all that on your end, your friend will receive an email to accept your invitation. Once they have accepted it, you both will be linked and ready to plan together.
Sumer, I hope this helps you manage your My Disney Experience account. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can help with! Until then, happy planning and see ya real soon!
