I'm so happy to hear that you would like to send a detailed cast compliment to
Walt Disney World. I do wish the cast compliment feature in the
My Disney Experience App was more comprehensive but it works well for quick compliments on the fly during your vacation.
In the past, I have emailed cast compliments to: wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com. I know for a fact that the email will get to the right people. A few years ago, I had an unexpected and extraordinary interaction with a Cast Member for my daughter's birthday at
Garden Grill Restaurant. It was so amazing it left us in a bit of shock and I was not able to get the Cast Member's name. I sent a very detailed, complimentary email to the address above, hoping it would reach the right people. On my next visit to Garden Grill Restaurant, a manager was walking around to the tables greeting the guests, and on a whim, I briefly explained my story and asked him if he knew if the Cast Member ever received my email. The manager responded that not only did the Cast Member receive it, but the email was hanging on their bulletin board for all to see. Boy, did that make my day!
Jacqueline, I'm not surprised you had a wonderful interaction with Disney Transportation. They are wonderful in what they do. We had a wonderful experience with a transportation Cast Member named Dan at Disney's Pop Century Resort. He worked the bus platform at the resort hotel and he had the buses loaded in no time at peak times in the morning. We could see the difference when he was not there so of course we had to send in a cast compliment on his behalf as well. We refer to him often as "Dan the Man" on our Disney vacations, always keeping an eye out for him.
