Hi Rachel,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
First, you’ll want to think about your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
Staying on property is great because you never need to leave the magic! All the different resorts have their own themes and flare that make them unique. Since you’ve got multiple adults and a few kids in your party, you might benefit from having two separate rooms at any of the
value,
moderate, or
deluxe resorts. You could also do a multi-bedroom suite if you’d like to be in the same room.
One of the coolest resorts is
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort which is themed to The Lion King, Cars, and Finding Nemo. Staying in one of the suites would really be exciting for the kids on the trip! You’d also be able to ride on the
Disney Skyliner which is my personal favorite mode of transportation.
Once you decide on your hotel and you start the booking process, you’ll be able to choose your
tickets. Adults are considered 10 years old and up, children are three – nine, and children under three do not need tickets. You’ll be able to choose from 1 Park Per Day tickets or Park Hopper Option tickets (which allow you to change your park during the day). Choosing your ticket type and number of days truly depends on what everyone wants to get out of the vacation. If everyone really wants to focus on rides and attractions, I’d suggest a Park Hopper. If you want a mix of relaxation and Theme Park fun, maybe choose the 1 Park Per Day tickets so you can enjoy some downtime at the hotel.
Don’t forget that once you finalize your package, you’ll want to book your
Disney Park Pass reservations immediately. These reservations are needed in addition to your Theme Park ticket and since your trip is coming up soon, you’ll want to secure them so you can go to your first choice park each day!
I know that was a ton of information, but I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your trip. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
