Semi-annual family WDW trip for April 2013 except this time we'll have 6 kids ages 1 - 3.5. We will be staying at Sheraton Vistana Villages instead of on property. Any tips for making our stay a little easier with so many little ones even off property?

My number one piece of advice, Erica, is to make sure those six little ones are well-rested.  Taking a midday break for naps is going to be the very best thing you can do to ensure that your trip goes smoothly without unnecessary breakdowns.  Also, make sure that you bring little snacks into the park with you.  Think along the lines of goldfish crackers and fruit leather strips.  Those munchies will help pass the time waiting in queues or for a show to start.  If you need a place to change a diaper, the Baby Care Centers are so much nicer than just the bathroom.

I've stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Villages twice.  I love that they have in-room laundry facilities and full kitchens.  I would only caution you to beware of the timeshare sharks; they can be obnoxiously persistent.  Have a great trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
