Mmmm....did someone say pie? Diane, thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this most delicious question! While dessert preferences can be a hotly debated topic, here are my top five favorites places for pie at Walt Disney World.
First up is the Mango Pie at
Yak & Yeti Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. This tropical and refreshing dessert perfects the contrasting combination of sweet and tart, topped off by delicious raspberry coulis. Yum!
Keeping with the tropical theme, let's move on to
House of Blues Restaurant & Bar for some old fashioned Coconut Cream Pie. Piled sky high just like your grandmother used to make it, this is a classic done right!
The Granny Smith Apple-Caramel Pie from
Whispering Canyon Cafe is up next. Be sure to save room for dessert as you will want to finish every last bite. Better yet, start with dessert!
For a southern classic, the divine Bourbon Street Pecan Pie is served up with plenty of southern hospitality at
Boatwright's Dining Hall at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.
Last but not least, a visit to Florida isn't complete without a native Key Lime Pie.
The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs has this one nailed with bursts of tart lime flavor cradled in a mason jar.
Diane, I can't wait to hEAR how you make out on your next pie tasting adventure. Bon Appétit! Trish
