Are selfie sticks allowed in the theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort?

Hi Ewan! I am glad you are asking a question about this now so you can be better prepared for your day in the Disney parks.

Selfie Sticks are not allowed in the Disney parks. You can check out the general Rules and Regulations
for items that are allowed or not allowed. Although they might accommodate you and store an item such as a selfie stick it is best to leave those things back in your resort room where they will be much safer.

I know selfies are a popular fad now but the sticks can pose safety issues not only to you while on an attraction but to other guests who might accidentally get hit by them. But I can guarantee there will be plenty of great opportunities to get that special picture wherever you might be headed!
