Welcome to planDisney, Vanessa! I'm so glad you made your way to us to ask your question.
At this time, Guests with date-based tickets are not required to make
Theme Park Reservations. However, anyone with a theme park ticket that is not assigned to a specific window of dates still needs to make reservations. As such, your ticket type requires a reservation. But don't worry, it's pretty easy to make them and if you have the option to
park hop, you can now do so before 2 p.m. and don't need to make a reservation for your second (or third or fourth) park!
Since self-admission tickets are usually given to
Cast Members, I am going to go out on a limb here and assume you are one. And as such, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all that you do for our Guests each and every day. The
Walt Disney World Resort, or any
Disney location for that matter, would not be the same without you. We talk about magic a lot here at Disney, something I'm sure you know, but what truly is the magic at Disney? And quite simply, the magic is you and your fellow
Cast Members. It's in the warm welcome given at the start of a Disney day. It's in the way you put safety above all. It's how hard you try to be
inclusive and help Guests
access the magic. It's in the
songs sung down Main Street, U.S.A., the
lines spoken at a show, and
the extra mile you go no matter how long a day it might have been for you. The list goes on and on.
I hope when you use your pass, you are treated to a day where you receive all the magic in the world.
Because you deserve it. After all,
you are the magic.
Thank you,
Matt
