Hello there, Amanda!
September is such a fun time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, especially when grim-grinning ghosts come out to socialize. The 2023 dates for seasonal experiences haven't been released yet, but check the
Disney Parks Blog over the next couple of months to see if the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will overlap with your vacation.
Unfortunately, it looks like industry-wide supply chain challenges are limiting the availability of certain
MagicBand styles. Once you book your Resort stay, you can select your MagicBand up until
10 days prior to your arrival. I spoke with a helpful Cast Member, and they shared that you'll need to purchase your MagicBands all at once if you are purchasing them due to an upcoming Resort stay. If there are options that you like, I'd suggest purchasing those while they are available. If you aren't a fan of the current options, you can check the website for potential restocks in the morning. Alternatively, you could wait to purchase a MagicBand until you get to the Walt Disney World Resort. However, this means that you'll need to spend a bit of time purchasing a MagicBand and linking it to your My Disney Experience account when you first arrive. Did you know that you can access MagicBand features, like theme park entry, through the
Disney MagicMobile service in the My Disney Experience app?
I hope you found these tips helpful, Amanda! Like the Star Wars droid C-3PO, I love helping fellow Walt Disney World Resort guests with technology and vacation plans. Please do come back and
ask any other questions you may have.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
