We are selecting the restaurants for our DDP and are having a hard time choosing a restaurant in Downtown Disney that would be nice for adults and children (ages 8 & 5). We don't want to go to T-Rex. We were thinking Paradiso 37 or Rainforest Cafe?

    Hi Jennifer,

Both of the restaurants you are looking at are my favorites in Downtown Disney.  I think overall that Rainforest Cafe is more children friendly.  The theming is fantastic.  My children love looking at all the animals and fish tanks before eating.  There is a "storm" that happens during the meal which may be scary for your 5 year old but it only lasts a few minutes.  The food is fantastic for adults and children.  This is one of the restaurants that we always go to when we visit Walt Disney World.  I love Paradiso 37 as well.  The menu has more of South and Central American flare with a wonderful wine bar.  The choices for the children are standard but good food.  I would recommend Rainforest Cafe overall, but you won't go wrong with either.  Enjoy your meal and have a magical vacation, Jennifer!
