Hi Moms! I selected the DDP I want to do a B,L,&D character dining, one diner show and one signature but is using 2 meals each worth it or should I pay out of pocket some? I have 2 children (3 and 4) will the 2 meals that day be enough for them?

    Beneeta:

I wondered the same thing the FIRST time we used the Disney Dining Plan, and played it safe. We took the three older kids that year and by the end of the week, could barely finish our meals! We ended up with 16 snack credits to spend in the candy store in Magic Kingdom!

So the second time we went on the DDP, I chose the Hoop-dee-Do Revue and a Character Dining Experience, and we didn't miss a beat (or the meal)! My advice: skip the meals toward the end of the week after you've eaten from a few buffets! And then strategically use your snacks for items that are more substantial than just a beverage.

    Cheers!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
