How do I select dates and hotels to plan a trip?

Hey there, Brooke, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the planDisney panel with your question. It’s great to have you here planning out your Walt Disney World Vacation! And you’ve come to the perfect place — I’d be happy to get you a few steps further down the vacation planning path. Let’s jump into it!

Brooke, booking your Walt Disney World reservation online is the quickest and most efficient method in my opinion. Your Disney vacation can actually be booked right from the Walt Disney World home page. Near the top of the web page is an option to Build Your Vacation. Enter your travel dates here, along with the number of Guests in your travel party, and select View Rates. This is the official start of your Disney Vacation planning! I recommend searching All Resort Hotels initially if you are still trying to determine which Disney Resorts Collection hotel you would like to stay in. There are lots of resort hotel options available, but if you’re looking for recommendations I suggest considering Disney’s Pop Century Resort. I love Pop Century because it has a welcoming price point and offers really fantastic transportation options to the Theme Parks. Again, there are many options here, so I suggest doing some research to determine what resort best fits your vacation desires.

If you are looking for suggestions on dates, I recommend considering the fall season. I enjoy fall Walt Disney World vacations for the milder temperatures, more manageable crowd levels, and fall decorations. There’s nothing that jump-starts the Holiday season like seeing Walt Disney World fully decked out in seasonal garb. But don’t just take my word for it! You still have plenty of time to plan a visit for this holiday season!

Brooke, I also understand that planning a Disney Vacation can be fairly overwhelming initially. So if you need any assistance booking your vacation, reach out to a Disney Resorts Reservations Cast Member for further assistance. And if you have any more questions while planning your vacation, stop back by and let me know! I hope this helps!
