When I select dates for a hotel stay, is the second date I select the last night of stay or the check out day? Usually with hotels it's the checkout day and then it shows number of nights, but I can't find the number of nights.

Hiya Joshua and welcome to planDisney!

Trying to choose dates for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is one of the best problems anyone could have. It means you're on your way to some surefire fun next summer. When choosing your dates in the Build Your Vacation tool on the Walt Disney World Resort homepage, your arrival date is the very first day you'll answer the magical call and need a room. Your departure date is the day you'll check out of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel and exchange magical for tragical. When you follow all the prompts to book your vacation it actually never says the number of nights. I'll admit this is always something that confused me a little bit when booking hotels and it's not written out somewhere. I've started thinking about it in what my goddaughter calls the number of "sleeps" I'll get to calculate it myself.

Joshua, I hope I've been able to help you today. Keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog as your trip approaches to keep yourself up to date on all the latest Walt Disney World news. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back for another chat!

    Happy planning!
