    What are the "must sees" for the first time visit to Disneyworld for a 4 yr. old boy? We are planning 2 days in Magic Kingdom and one in Hollywood.

    There are so many amazing sensory experiences for preschoolers at Walt Disney World. That being said, l'll share some ideas on how your child can enjoy those experiences at the theme parks you'll be visiting:

    Sight:

    Cinderella's Castle is an amazing sight to behold. Before making a beeline to the attractions in Fantasyland, take a moment for your child to pause and soak in this awe-inspiring sight up-close.

    In Disney's Hollywood Studios, the "Toy Story Midway Mania!" attraction will plop you and your child in the middle of a series of 4-D interactive games hosted by characters from the Toy Story movies.

    Sound:

    My 4-year-old daughter loves to sing and dance with parades, especially the "Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! Street Party" in the Magic Kingdom. 

    Speaking of singing and dancing, my daughter would sit in on every performance of "Disney Junior - Live on Stage!" if we'd let her. 

    Taste:

    It's a rite of passage for children to enjoy a Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar when they visit the Magic Kingdom. (Photo op!)

    One of my daughter's all-time favorite snacks (as well as mine) is the carrot cake cookie that's served at The Writer's Stop in Disney's Hollywood Studios. 

    Touch:

    Many of the attractions in the Magic Kingdom (e.g. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh) feature interactive games and activities to experience while you wait in the queue lines. 

    In Disney's Hollywood Studios, you should definitely check out the "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure" so your child can see what it would feel like to be zapped down to the size of a bug.
