Hi there, Ignacio! Thanks for taking the time to visit planDisney. I'm happy you have a Disneyland Resort trip planned for this fall!
Bringing a stroller with you to the parks can be a lifesaver! While renting one can be convenient, the
Disneyland strollers are not always ideal for the smallest of Mouseketeers, especially since they do not recline. For the sake of comfort, we always brought our own, and now that my boys are older, I miss the storage space it provided!
Unfortunately, according to the Disneyland website,
stroller wagons are not permitted in the theme parks. Also included are strollers larger than 31" x 52". During one of my trips, I asked a security guard at the gate, and I was told that even if your wagon is smaller than those dimensions, it will not be allowed. I can certainly understand your confusion, Ignacio, as I have seen stroller wagons at times myself. It's possible that these guests were exempted through
Disability Services; however, exceptions are infrequent and difficult to get. I have also witnessed stroller wagons left behind at security, resulting in the guests having to rent a stroller for the day, and I'd hate for this to happen to you.
One thing I do encourage you to do is to visit the
Disneyland Resort Baby Care Centers during your stay. One is located at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., in Disneyland Park near First Aid and the Plaza Inn Restaurant. At Disney California Adventure Park, you'll find one near the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain in the Pacific Wharf (just beyond Cars Land). They are indeed a welcome respite for tired kids and parents! They have changing tables, high chairs, and a kitchen where you can warm baby food and bottles.
Please feel free to write us back anytime, Ignacio! See ya real soon!
