I've seen suggestions to arrive at parks early, go back to resort for rest, then return to park refreshed. Traveling in Jan with much more limited hours. Stick to this plan or stick it out in parks? 1st trip, 2 aduts, 2 teens, 1 preschooler.

    Hi Vicki!!

Thank you so much for your question!!!  Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World Vacation!!

I am a firm believer in the strategy you mentioned.  My family always arrives at the theme parks at opening, stays until around lunch, goes back to the resort to rest/nap/swim, and then heads back to the theme parks in the evening.

Since you will have a preschooler with you, I would recommend looking into this strategy.  However, since you have limited hours/days that you will be able to attend the theme parks, you may have to alter that.  I think that you would be fine just staying in the theme parks all day, but I would make sure you have a stroller for the preschooler to nap and rest in.  This will help your day go a lot smoother and will allow you a greater chance of staying in the theme parks all day without a meltdown from the youngest one.

Sending extra Pixie Dust your way for a magical trip!!
